For 4 days, Praia Vermelha do Norte, in Ubatuba, is transformed into a movie theater showing surfing films from all over the world.
FICSU is a festival whose mission is to place the capital of surfing, as the city on the northern coast of São Paulo is known, on the global circuit of surfing film festivals, bringing an event that addresses many themes related to the sport: sustainability, the environment, well-being, local culture and a deep connection with the oceans.
More than 8 thousand people in person and an indirect reach of 2.5 million people.


Cinema, sustentabilidade, esporte e bem estar
A festival that makes Ubatuba, in addition to the capital of surfing, a great meeting place for cinema on the beach, in an unforgettable event! Held with funds from Proac law funding, the Federal Law of Incentive to Culture and important partnerships and sponsorships, such as Decathlon, Canal Off and Corona.
O Festival Internacional de Cinema de Surf de Ubatuba - FICSU - ocorreu durante quatro dias em junho de 2019 e em sua segunda edição em 2022 na praia Vermelha do Norte, Ubatuba|SP.
Além de uma mostra de cinema especializada em filmes de surf contemporâneos, com uma tela de 10 metros montada na areia em frente ao mar, o festival contou com shows de música, arte, sustentabilidade, valorização da cultura local, rodas de conversa e oficinas, feira de expositores locais e outras atividades como celebração do dia da tartaruga, coleta seletiva e limpeza da praia.
