Trapezio Productions offers fixer and full production services to international media companies, producers, filmmakers, and clients looking to film across Brazil.
With a nationwide network of experienced film and TV professionals, we operate from key hubs in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Manaus, Belém, Brasília, and Recife, while also working extensively in nearly every region of the country.
Founded in 2008 to produce original content locally, Trapezio expanded in 2015 to serve international clients. Since then, we've become a trusted partner for major productions, providing local production services for the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, as well as content for Amazon, HBO, Discovery, and other global platforms.

Our services
ANCINE Permit
ANCINE (Agência Nacional do Cinema) is the Brazilian government agency responsible for regulating, promoting, and overseeing the country's audiovisual industry. All foreign film productions—whether commercials, documentaries, or institutional videos—must obtain prior authorization from ANCINE before filming in Brazil.
To secure this permit, foreign entities are required to partner with a local production company. Trapezio has extensive experience guiding international productions through this process. From reality TV shows to documentaries and corporate films, we manage the entire application procedure, ensuring your project meets all regulatory requirements to film legally in Brazil.
Assistance for entry Visas for Brazil
Visas are issued by Brazilian diplomatic representations abroad. Once eligibility requirements are met, ANCINE will issue a notification to the diplomatic representation concerned, which will then grant entry visas for foreign professionals. A copy of the notification is sent to the Brazilian producer.

Assistance for Customs Clearance of Equipment in Brazil
Brazil is not a signatory to the ATA Carnet agreement and does not accept it for customs clearance. Instead, travelers must complete a national customs declaration known as the e-DBV (Electronic Traveler’s Customs Declaration). This form can be filled out online in advance, helping to avoid issues when entering or leaving Brazil.
Trapezio has extensive experience assisting travelers and production crews with the temporary importation of equipment into Brazil. You can rely on our expertise to support you throughout this process.
Gear rental
Most major cities in Brazil are equipped with full-service gear rental houses capable of supporting all types of productions. If your crew prefers to source equipment locally, Trapezio can coordinate this on your behalf. We have successfully provided gear for large-scale productions, including projects for Discovery Channel, HBO, and various corporate clients. Upon request, we’d be happy to prepare a tailored quote for your production needs.
